What can you expect to experience while spending the day with Voodoo?
Enjoy time on the Caribbean Sea, with opportunities to swim and snorkel. Relax on board in our various lounge locations, such as our top deck sun bed or in a bean bag on the front deck. Enjoy delicious cocktails and beverages made by the crew. Explore a wide range of top notch destinations. Eat lunch with a view at one of our favorite locations, depending on the day’s itinerary. Voodoo aims to leave you with lasting memories of the best day of your vacation.
Where do we go?
Voodoo will primarily offer public trips to people staying on St. John and St. Thomas to various destinations in the US and British Virgin Islands. We will offer occasional one night trips to Anegada, St. Croix and Culebra. Private trips allow you to choose a private itinerary and we can go anywhere within range.
What’s included?
- Open bar with a variety of beverages and cocktail options
- UV Filtered, cold drinking water on tap
- Fruit Platter (day trips) or Charcuterie Board (sunset trips)
- Snorkel Gear (day trips)
- Fuel and Water
- Captain and Crew
Do we do private trips?
Absolutely! Enjoy the boat exclusively and plan a custom itinerary. Private trips are available and ideal for weddings, business functions, and special events. There is an option to upgrade private trips with a high-end bar and additional crew for cocktail service. We recommend booking private trips far in advance.
What should we bring?
For day trips we recommend bringing sunscreen (no aerosol or tinted sunscreen) and towels. Voodoo has ample space on board for personal items, but the truth is you don’t need much!
Where do you pick up?
Trips depart from the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay, St. John. The National Park Dock is located immediately in front of the Virgin Islands National Park Visitor Center (across the street from Mongoose Junction).
Where should we park?
Parking is available at the Visitor Center or across the street from the National Park Dock at the Cruz Bay Lumberyard (for a nominal fee).
Do you serve food?
Voodoo does not have a galley, however we will provide fruit platters in the morning for our full day trips. A charcuterie board will be provided for sunset and night snorkel trips. Lunch options change daily depending on the itinerary schedule. Catered food for private excursions can be arranged.
Where will we eat lunch?
From floating restaurants to tiki bars and fine dining on the beach, lunch stops vary by itinerary. Check out the unique and delicious menu offerings at some of our preferred lunch stops below:
Are kids welcome?
Of course! Kids will love this boat, and are welcome to use our youth-size snorkeling gear. We welcome all ages, families and friends to hop on board.
What if it rains?
We have a “rain or shine” policy for all trips. On rare occasions, weather cancellations will occur. Weather based cancellations are determined at the sole discretion of our Captains the day of the trip, not before. Should the Captain determine that weather conditions are not suitable for a trip to run, we do our best to offer guests an option to reschedule. If a reschedule is not possible or does not work for our guests’ schedule, we refund any deposits collected.
What is your cancellation policy?
A deposit of 50% of the full charter is due upon booking the charter, with the balance due upon departure. This may be transferred to new dates with a minimum of 30 days notice. Deposits for charters cancelled within less than 30 days of pickup are non-transferable. Trips cancelled within 48 hours of departure from the dock will be charged 100% of the balance of your total. Failure to appear on time for your trip is considered a cancellation.
