Newsletter: September 2025

Welp, Labor Day’s beyond us now, and it starts to get real. Down here in St. John it gets real too… real quiet, real magical. We get that feeling that we want to tell everybody we know, but also we don’t.
You’re our people though, so: yes, the weather is more variable, but if you want our famous beaches mostly to yourself, this is the time to be here. A little attention to the weather and preparation (like a waterproof shell tucked into a bag or a pocket) before heading out is generally the small effort needed that keeps the crowds away… and it also adds to the adventure of it all. Of course, for your day trip offshore, choosing the right catamaran is important too. Safety, comfort, cover when you want it, bathrooms, etc., and an experienced captain and crew are always important.
Anyhow, that’s our final two cents (this year) on this time of year. Maybe it’s for you, maybe less so. We’re into it though!
Here’s what’s going on with us in September. Check further down for a useful link if you will be in St. John during the off-season.
