Based in the heart of St. John, Voodoo Charters offers its full range of incredible boating adventures out of Cruz Bay, serving as the perfect launching point for exploring the U.S. and British Virgin Islands by luxury catamaran.
For charters to the U.S. Virgin Islands, you’ll meet our crew right at the National Park Dock in front of the Visitor’s Center. This central location generally hosts both our personalized private adventures and our popular shared tours aboard the 57-foot catamaran Voodoo, which follow a curated itinerary.
If we’ll be heading to the British Virgin Islands, the pick-up spot is closeby at the International Park Dock, just through the black gate towards the customs building.
For private USVI trips, we’re also happy to arrange an anchor pick-up near luxury resorts like The Westin in Great Cruz Bay if preferred.
Pick-Up Locations

From the dock areas in Cruz Bay, you’ll be able to onload and offload for your adventure without any trouble. Both of our catamarans are specifically designed for easy access on and off the boat. And throughout your day, you’ll be able to comfortably get in and out of the water for your snorkels and swims.
St. John to the USVI
National Park Dock in Cruz Bay
- For our charters remaining in the USVI, the pick-up location is directly in front of the Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center, across from Mongoose Junction.
- Guests typically wait at the nearby children’s playground, which has picnic tables that make it a great spot to gather everyone and everything in your group.
St. John to the BVI
International Park Dock in Cruz Bay
- For those venturing to the BVI, our pickup location is very close to the pick-up for our USVI Trips.
- Located between the Visitors Center and the Customs building, near the National Park Dock, you’ll find a black gate.
- Enter through the black gate and wait under the white tent until a crew member greets you.
- This area can get congested with boats, so please stay under the tent as directed.
- For navigation on your phone, click or search for “Ferry St. John – St. Thomas (Crown Bay)” in your Maps app, which will guide you close to our location.
Since two-thirds of St. John is National Park lands, special rules are in place for anchoring, mooring and docking. There are only a few places to pick you up due to the restrictions and size of our catamarans.
