Private Charters to the British Virgin Islands will begin at 8 or 9am and will give you access to the boat for 8 hours of international exploration.

8:00 AM

Customs & Chill

Departure and Customs Clearance

  • Departure: Begin your adventure by heading towards Tortola to clear through customs.
  • Itinerary Discussion: On the way, the primary guest consults with the Captain to plan the day’s itinerary based on weather and sea conditions.
  • Kick Back On Board or in the Water While We Do Customs: While the Captain or Crew handle customs, you and your group will have the opportunity to jump in the water to cool off and float, or simply sit back and sip on a refreshing cocktail while enjoying the lovely fresh fruit board our crew prepared for you.
  • Duration: The customs process can take a little more or less than an hour but the time slips away quickly as you relax and enjoy the sunshine from the boat’s many comfortable lounging spots or in the tranquil blue waters surrounding the vessel.

Once customs is complete, we’re off to begin the day of exploring…

9:00 AM

Snorkel & Swim

Snorkeling at Norman Island

  • First Stop: After clearing customs, head to Norman Island for a stop at the Indians, Caves, or Aquarium.
  • Snorkel, swim, lounge and relax: If you are into snorkeling, a stop near Norman Island will never disappoint.

    The coral and marine life here are abundant and the colors on a sunny day are unprecedented.  Norman Island is believed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s pirate novel Treasure Island. 

11:00 AM

Willy T

Visit to Willy T Floating Bar

  • Second Stop: Step aboard the infamous floating bar, Willy T, named after a notable British-American architect renowned for his architectural contribution as the first Architect of the Capitol in the United States
  • Beverages: This is a great stop to grab a cocktail and if you are brave enough, become one of the many who have jumped off the second story into the refreshing waters below, be sure to have the camera ready for this stop.

By now, you have probably started to work up an appetite.

Re-Fresh

Relax with Fresh Snacks

  • Onboard Snacks: Enjoy a snack board to tide you over with dip, veggies, and crackers prepared by the crew as you head to your next destination.

Lunch & Further Exploration

  • Pirates Bight on Norman Island: This is a lovely beach side restaurant that allows you to sit down and get refueled while looking out at the pristine blue water. 
  • White Bay, Jost Van Dyke: Maybe you’re looking for multiple options for lunch to please different palates in your group. If that’s the case, then taking the easy cruise over to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke may be just what you are looking for.

    The Captain will pull you right up to the beach and allow you to disembark using the water stairs on Voodoo or stern ladder on Vorado.  Either way, you will be wading just a few steps onto the this beautiful beach with some really fun options for a delicious lunch or cool drink. Some of our crew favorites include:
  • Hendo’s Hideout: Enjoy tasty local seafood and tropical beverages while overlooking the beautiful white sand beaches of White Bay.
  • The world famous Soggy Dollar Bar: Where the (in)famous Virgin Islands drink known as the Painkiller was created. If you are so inclined, alert your friends and family back home to check you out on the Soggy Dollar webcam in front of the bar… this is also a great way to get your “island fix” before or after your Caribbean vacation (especially if you’re stuck somewhere cold).
  • Additional Lunch and Exploration Options: Perhaps you want to explore a little further up the BVI island chain, if the conditions are good we can visit other areas in the BVI (additional fuel fees may apply):
  • Cooper Island: Snorkel and have lunch at the Beach Club.
  • Scrub Island: Enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the water.
  • Saba Rock: Dine at an upscale restaurant and bar.
Another incredible option:

The Baths on Virgin Gorda

If weather conditions are favorable, embark on a memorable trip to the famous Baths in Virgin Gorda, a BVI National Park known for its unique geological formations of granite boulders creating natural tidal pools, tunnels, arches, and scenic grottoes.

  • During the journey: Relax on the boat with beverages and a fresh fruit platter prepared by the crew.
  • Upon arrival to The Baths: Explore, swim, snorkel, and take photos, with the option of of a guided tour by the crew. The Captain will handle customs while you explore.
  • After returning to the boat: Continue to your next destination, often White Bay Beach on Jost Van Dyke, enjoying onboard snacks.

Please take note:

• If you choose to go to Virgin Gorda and the Baths on Voodoo this will become a 9 hour trip starting at 8am to accommodate the long travel to and from the area.

• Additional fees for fuel apply for this trip.

Cruise Back To Cruz Bay

  • Soak It All In: You’ve had an incredible day — this is the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the ride with your friends and family.
  • Onboard Refreshments: Enjoy the open bar and fresh bites while cruising back.

4:00 PM

What a Day!

Arrive Back in St. John

  • Return Customs: Arrive back at Cruz Bay, St. John for customs clearance before concluding your trip!
  • You have all the time you need, and the setting is perfect: Stroll off the boat in Cruz Bay and straight into the charming downtown of St. John or head back to St. Thomas on the Ferry. You’ve got plenty of time to enjoy your evening wherever it takes you. Ask our crew for the local recommendations.
