Newsletter: November 2025

Hello fellow Caribbean cloud-niners,
Pizza Pi opened up for the season last weekend and mostly everything is back in full swing here. Holidays will be here in a blink!
We’ll touch on that real quick below, then get into what’s weighing on our hearts and minds…

If you’re heading to the VI for that perfect kind of holiday, there’s still a little space during Thanksgiving week, and the coveted Christmastime slots are booking up. Now’s probably the last chance for some flexibility so check your dates or simply click below to reach out on our website, and we’ll get it figured out! Otherwise, leftovers (still great).
While we’re grateful for the calm forecast here…
Our hearts sit heavy for Jamaica and its neighbors, reeling from last week’s major hit by Hurricane Melissa. We are all too familiar with the impacts of such a devastating storm. Irma and Maria feel fresh in our memories. The picture below was taken eight years ago at the Cruz Bay roundabout.

Those catastrophic storms taught us what a resilient force our community can be, and the importance of rallying together from around the globe. We know that every tiniest bit can inspire and create great things. Every little effort adds up to big and vital relief. We’ve experienced that.
If your hearts are reeling like ours for our westerly neighbors, here’s your gentle nudge to show up for them in whatever ways work for you.
Here are two ways to help from afar…
[ 1 ]
Amplify important news and helpful messages online.
Be generous with your likes and follows, and share important sources with friends and family. At the very least, it’ll help build (and keep) much-needed momentum. More eyes bring more support and faster relief.
Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean

Shaggy: He’s taking the lead on organizing support for Jamaica, organizing aid flights, and delivering essentials in person.

Locals like Nikia Howard are keeping us updated on what’s happening on the ground in Jamaica.
[ 2 ]
Give what you can, if you can.
Even small donations fuel local programs and remind those hit hardest that the whole region is behind them. Cash of course, but non-perishable foods, blankets and clothing, and even equipment are helpful too. Here’s a list Shaggy put together last week.
Little drops of water, little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land.

Mercy Chefs is providing hot meals and distributing food and clean water to families in Jamaica’s hardest-hit areas. You can even just text CHEFS to 24365 to donate.

Food for the Poor is delivering essential food, water, shelter, and medical supplies to survivors and supporting long-term recovery.

Global Empowerment Mission is sending large shipments of relief supplies and coordinating logistics to aid Jamaica’s recovery efforts.

We close with hope and gratitude.
Wishing safety, strength, and brighter days to our fellow islanders. And thankful to all of you, as always.
